Nope Lance, it was mentioned at Telford that Magna were looking at doing the Short Sperrin for next year ans the Avro Ashton, so no need to have a blast at one now.

Mmmm..

Ignoring the fact that I have some of these in other media, and that some of these aren't as unlikely as some of the splendid ideas to date - IM kits of the following, please...

In 48th or 72nd - Supermarine Scimitar; new-tool Sea Vixen; Supermarine Swift.

In 1/48 a Draken and a Lansen would be very nice

I wouldn't protest too loudly if a mainstream manufacturer came out with a 72nd scale Valiant before I'd plucked up the courage to tackle Mach 2's rendition of said beast.

As for Spitfires (which I prefer in 1/48th, but wouldn't begrudge in other scales)- a Mk IX that hasn't got something wrong with it (Mr Tamiya??); a Mk XIV with a slightly less obvious proboscis than provided by Academy; and a Mk XII.

1/48th Tempest II and IV

A 1/48th Vautour that isn't by Hi Tech

And a new F-16XL would give the opportunity to make an interesting addition to the stash. Well, several additions.

QuoteA Barling Bomber, please. Preferably in 1/63 scale by ITC, but I'd settle for anything.

X10!!!

I would also like to see some of Gotha's later bombers in 1/72nd.

QuoteDid not know about the resin kit but I have seen the Vacform and I just passed it by.

To build that baby would involve so much work that you could claim it as a scratchbuild.
:o  :o  :o  :o  :o  I'd heard of that too! If you ever see an example of it again PLEASE OH PLEASE pick it up and send it my way, I'll gladly pay you back for it!!!!! B)  B)  B)

What , you mean the french bomber ? FONDERIE MINIATURE has made a kit of the plane in 1/48. Maybe this could be more interesting for you  ^_^
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

A 1/72 Rooivalk is kitted in resin, mine is under construction now.  It has decals and brass etch too.  If you're in the UK, drop a line to Martin Blundell, c/o Aeroventure Museum, Doncaster, I think he has a couple in stock, about £30 iirc.

If you're located elsewhere, suggest you contact the guys at IPMS Western Cape through ipmssa.za.org and they should be able to get you in contact with the Cape Town guy who makes them, John Weidermann, or locate a retailer - maybe the Aviation Shop in Jo'burg.

The Cheyenne has been kitted a few times as I recall?

No - the former proprieter of Heritage Aviation (resins).  The F1 driver is Brundell, but  - true story - when our Martin (Blundell) checked into a Tokyo hotel once, there were a lot of confused / disappointed fans wanting his autograph the next morning!

Two more I forgot - both are available but either difficult to get or not the best:

1/48 Spitfire PR19
1/48 Bugatti 100 (I would probably buy a couple dozen of these if I could)

Had another thought on what kit I'd really want:

1/700 USS Enterprise CVN-65 Post-1981 refit

All I've seen in 1/700-1/720 scale is the old Revell kit with the Billboard arrays, the one, and Terrier launchers on the aft sponsons.

I am also still waiting on a 72nd Seafire Mk 47 for my Korean War display.
Preferably by one of the major manufacturors.  Maybe the redone Airfix can down size their 48th scale kit.

I support Matrixone votes for Ju 287 production and Ta 400 in injection and I would like to Robur's Albatross from the Jules Verne novel. preferably injected with minimal photoetching (some would be needed of course but it could easily be overdone ! Iwant an easy-to-build Albatros ad that's real Science-Fiction) also a 1/24 Yoko Tsuno Colibri and some other graphic novels designs like most of the Dan Cooper thingies
