Nasty things happen if these doors don't function. Maybe they could be incorporated on the sides of your conformal tank.

I remember at one time there was a thought of adding the conformal tank to the top of the aircraft which also included a redesign of the cockpit arrangement to facilitate better visibility from the rear seat.

IMHO the louvres, in conformal tank sides, are intended to feed those belly doors. They are in the drawings and, currently, in the model but not in that old pic of my model.

I do not know what that device over the wing is. :huh:

That is something to do with the QF configuration I believe.

Its not the workbench that makes the model, it is the modeler at the workbench.

I'm not normally an F-4 fan, but I like the effect of this modification. :thumbsup: Looking forward to seeing it finished  :cheers:
