After several hard fought battles on the distant world of Trinity against the ravaging Orkish hordes,Colonel Marcus Carson of the Legion of Grey Death Chapter of Space Marines Stopped momentarily to give praise to his stalwart men.for 3 months his force of a mere 647 marines held and finally prevailed against an Orcish horde of over 7,000. The remaing marines of the Legion numbering now 353 had found and held an Ancient Pre Heresy fortress. And Praise the Emperor now unsealed a cavernous Armoury of Imperial weaponry,The landraiders,Ceramite battle armor and Rhinos would more than replace those lost in battle here on trinity. But it was this Massive door that held Marcus's attention at the moment his Tech Marines labored over the rites reqired to unseal the portal that stood taller than a WARHOUND TITAN!!! As the final seals were broken the mighty door groaned and opened a mere foot or so,Some stale and aincent air drifted out of the now unsealed chamber. The techmarines applied power to the aincent mechanisims and the door ground open,as light flooded in Marcus his eyes wide in Disbelief looked upon a metal Behemoth a mighty War Machine of a type unknown to him."Brother Nicholas have you ever seen any thing the likes of this before?"Marcus asked the chapter Librarian "NO Colonel Never have I Viewed a war machine such as this,Yet the Imperial Eagles mark it as being of Man's Creation!" The two gave Silent praise to the Emperors blessing of good fortune, and to the fear the mighty vehicle would inspire upon the Imperium's enemies

Three twin-linked lascannons will smite the vile Greenskins mightily! At 1:35th it should compare well to a Baneblade or at least a Land Raider in size. I should dust off the grav-APC I made from an M-109 and snap some pics of it. Friend of mine made an Ork battlewagon out of and old Lee tank he had, looked pretty good. When I first saw some of the 40K armor like the Leman Russ, I thought they looked silly, but they've really grown on me over the years. Very WW1 feel about them.

Wow Mr P. Wulf, great to see you back at the workbench! I really like your camo paintjob on this one. You're right, it's got a cool W.W. I feel to it, something I'm very fond of. Great stuff, Panzer Wulf!

Shudder to think what the cost is under VDR. That's been my problem with my modified Land Raider/Leman Russ hybrid for my Space Wolves. I can never afford to use the darn thing and if I do, every unit on my opponents force panics and fires on it simultaneously, usually destroying it. At least I designed it so I can convert it back to a regular Land Raider so the model doesn't go to waste.

to answer your question 576 points out of a 1500 point army as for the enemy panicking thats why I sunk so much into the shields and reinforcement (ie HITPOINTS) while the enemy usually panics and goes for the "Sword of Abrams Mk1"my Landraider and Razorbacks hammer their heavy weapon capibilities "Usually" ;)  taking them out before I lose my Abrams :P

Wow---seriously---wow.

Where did you get the cool laser cannons from?

Oh, and will most acrylic paints stay adhered to vinyl tank model tracks?

The cool lazer cannons Were spares from some other games workshop kits (the producers of Warhammer 40,000 they have an in store catalog that you can order "Bits" from so you can mix and match to design your own vehicles) Heres their website Games workshop I'll be posting some of my Warhammer 40K conversions soon.I do a lot of modifications for other people as a source of pocket cash,as well as painting armies
as for tracks acrylics do not like most vinyl tracks but 1 trick is to blast them with good old fashioned "Aerisol Can" HAIRSPRAY it is basically alcohol based Shellac blast it liberally with 2 or 3 light coats and wait an hour or so between blasts, let dry overnight and most acrylics will stick and enamels will dry without staying Tacky I have also heard a coat of Future/Johnsons Klear will have the same effect

Great looking tank I love the camo on it reminds me of the old 70's-80's MERDEC camo the US military used
