Aw, coooool.  What's the prognosis for these two, then?

Zueratis III, 1340 hours, December 25, 3052

The Jade Falcon warriors were stomping around outside the hut, he could hear the short and severe language being flung about, directed mostly at his fellow pilots.  Those who fought in the 'mechs seemed to think themselves as better than the men and women that served as support units.
"Elite, my donkey",  Ian thought to himself.  He knew how the battles were planned, and how much a part of them his new strike force would count in the future strategies. He was no freebirth moron, doomed to wipe grease off of mech struts and serve as a weapons loader, or even worse, as a repair bay technician...he was a pilot of the newest and meanest flying weapon in the Falcon arsenal, and one of the few that could look at a Daishi onscreen and just chuckle.
"I'd like to see a Timberwolf clanner say that", he muttered under his breath.  The genetically bread mechwarriors gave him the creeps most of the time, though they had the same sense of battle lust that he did too, and in their cups, could be quite fun to bander stories about. The violent raids on T'Kuyhleh, the upset of the Draconis Combine, the horrible failure to take Terra fast enough...he had cut his teeth on the knee of his birth-father listening to these tales.
On the wall hung a digital map of the battlefield, where red crosses marked the fallen, and the green lines told of the fight to come tomorrow.

His line was in neon blue, a fencing thrust straight into the heart of the Terrans.

  He would not fail.

So something Mechwarrior related then?  :tank:

My daughter was just muttering the same thing under her breath, but it was something about ME!

So... is this going to be a Clan Helo, or a Freebirth surat Inner Sphere flying target?

It is better that it be a Trueborn helo, quiaff?  Not Crusader, though, as they have strayed from the true path of Kerensky!  Join the Warden cause!!  Bring enlightenment back to the Inner Sphere the way The Great Father would have wanted!

JHM, your little princess is a Jade Falcon?  How correct that would be!  We have had enough of the impure influences of the Clan Wolf , Smoke Jaguar, and the lesser assemblages, now is the time for the remains of the true Jade Falcons, the only ones who stood in the true light of inner wisdom and the power to overhold the weak freebirth on their path to righteousness.

Since this is a JF Peregrine, the camouflage is somewhat necessary...I think most of you know where I am headed:

Enlightenment? Our enlightenment comes from the end of a PPC...we shall show the Terrans and the Combine what truth to follow by the means of a heavy strike at their very heart!

I know very little about Mechwarrior apart from they have big walking tanks so I'm very intrigued.....

Can't wait to see it Greg!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Looks suspiciously like that Hind camoflage.....  B)

I agree with Nev. Have never played mechwarrior, but I remmber it being shown on telly in the UK some years back, I used to enjoy watching it, although some of the dialogue was a tad overdone on the part of some of the characters fighting the Jade Falcon mob.

Whooboy. Location points? Who needs 'em !  If you build this kit, make sure you haven't had any caffeine, and lots of tape...the angles keep you from clamping, and the fit is something to shake your head at !   Two beers into cementing the hull:
