Here's my ex-Aichi M6A(from Chap ), soon to become a trimotor italian ground-attacker.

Oooh, I like it.  Although I would delete the nose engine and give it a big ole 8 gun nose like the Mosquito...    Your model has very clean lines and I think a 3rd engine would spoil them.

Then again, the Italians loved their tri-motors.....

I thought about that too, wanting a a six-gun setup of two 37mm autocannons, two .50in and two .303in machine guns.

Unfortunately, I'd have to somehow come up with a new nose and then I'd have less than half of the original kit left   I'm sticking with the trimotor for now for sake of simplicity, italian-ness, and a desire to actually use as much of the Seiran as possible.

Besides, it seems all previous breda airplanes have had trouble with inadequate engine power ^_^

Already a great job of splicing.  I'm green with envy.

Man, this is definitely going to be a GB to keep an eye on!

Nice.....a three engined attacker...what a great ( and original ! ) idea !

Looking forward to seeing more from this build.

 Hm, I seem to have misplaced the canopy.

What say the folks at whiffland? Wait till I could find another Seiran canopy or make this sucker single-seated with an FW 190D cockpit? Or perhaps whip me up a gun turret... :ar:

In other news, I added a rather substantial dorsal fin fillet in order to deal with the torque of not one but two extra engines.

I'd go for the Fw-190 canopy or try smash-u-forming one.

Your update on the mods is making have me hungry to see more pics!

If you don't mind vacuform canopies, Squadron has a nice selection. Here's a link. The Stuka or Kate canopies may work. ;)

Hmm, actually I had just found the clear sprue with the canopy I needed   in the bathroom of all places.

Thanks for the suggestions though!

Now that I've got the stock canopy again, I've got three choices on which way to go

-Greenhouse canopy, probably most plausable solution -needs lots of masking(a skill i have yet to master)

-Single Seat fighter cockpit on such a huge plane would have a bit of a skyraider-ish vibe to it

-One of the above but with a dorsal gun turret, remote or otherwise

Ooh I really like the idea of a single-seat canopy and a manned, dorsal turret. This would be a natural if your whiff is a decendant of the Breda 65.

after doing some mockups and test fitting, I've determined that I can't use a single-seat canopy and manned turret. Simply not enough room to pull it off.

What Ima do now is use the kit canopy, but chop off the last few panels to make room for a remote control turret made from the Me 410s barbettes glued and blended together side by side. I'm sure JMNs would note that the MG 131s have a caliber .01in wider than the .5in machine guns I'm pretending they are :P
