Italeri JSF F-32 in USMC markings.  Comments?

K5054NZ

I'll comment - NICELY DONE! Excellent work! It's good to see another JSF model done.

Great stuff! The shark's mouth so totally fits on the F-32*. Fantastic! Me likey muchly!

Tell me, how do you do your panel line shading? I'd like to start doing that sort of thing.

Very nicely done.  The F-32 was an aircraft that just screamed for a shark's mouth.

All hail the God of Frustration!!!

That looks SOOO right!  I agree with Greg about the shark's mouth.  The F-35 might be sleeker, but it just looks so BLAH.

Yep.
Lovely teeth.
Why is that the "failed" aircraft always looks more "interesting"?

F-32. Name would first be given long after it had been chosen, just like the F-35 lightning II

Very nice.  Always thought the F-32 had more character than the F-35  B)

"Guppy" seems to be popular, as is "Manta", at least as far as what people have nicknamed it. At the time, it was known as "Monica" due to its' gaping mouth.

Think Bill Clinton and, erm, "Special Assistant".

Did the pilots have to wear a blue dress?

Nice job on that model, fantastic painting, and I like the grinning mouth.

AeroplaneDriver

Beautiful job!!

The vertical tails look better than the ones that come with the kit though.  What did you use?
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Congratulations - beautiful model of a hideous aircraft. What were Boeing's designers taking?

RotorheadTX

The guys at the LHS dubbed it a "Monica" too.

The tails came from the F-35 kit, which was going to become a JAST, but got scrapped.  :ar:
