A couple pics of my Revell He 162 that I recently finished.

Better pictures of this model will have to wait for a brighter sunny day, it was so dark today I had trouble getting good clear pics of the model.

Now that the He 162 and Bf 109 are finished I am going full speed on my ''project X'' whiff. :D

Thanks Zac, NARSES2, Steve, Aircav, and nev!

Zac,
I finally got the book ''Ho 229 Spirit of Thuringia'', you should look into getting a copy of that book because it is fantastic! Many of the photos are new to me and there is one color photo that shows part of the Ho IX V1. Also something I found very interesting was a report from one of the test flights of the Ho IX V2 that a Me 262 chase plane could not keep up with the Horten in turns and climbs. Good stuff!

You've done an awsome job again Matrix. Amazing looking 162.

Thank you lancer!

This was a fun kit to build and paint, also it does not take up very much shelf space for a 1/32 scale model.

Thanks Greg and Brian!

Greg,
I've already started on the Me 262 A-2a/U2 kit, its going very well so far.

Brian,
Near the end of the month I expect to start on my own spat plane...the old Monogram Ju 87 G, I know its not a very good kit by todays standards but it sure is fun to build and I want to see what modern paint, decals, and careful weathering will do for it.

Wow, that's beautiful! It really does look like the real plane. I think the lack of sunshine makes it look even more realistic.

Thanks very much Frank!

Yes the lack of sunshine looks good in some of the pics, but the weathering on this model and my Bf 109G-14 is to scale and thus very hard to see in my pictures unless the sun is out, it might be a week or two before conditions are right for taking anymore pictures because I live near the Oregon coast where it rains a LOT this time of year. :)
