Ah, an anti-shipping version?  Nah, I like the extended range one with the full fuel tanks, two on the wings.

I like it when a plan comes together! B) That looks kick donkey! B)  B)  If you ever need that portion of the A-10 you used, I've got that exact piece sitting here as a by product of the Hogzilla. Too bad I didn't know you needed it before hand. Like I said, you can have mine if you ever want to put that ole' Hog back together. :)

Cockpit painted and temporarily test-fitted together.  Used bang-seats from a Revellogram F-15.  The switches, etc. on centre console are just painted on (there's no surface detail molded in).  To fit the seats under the canopy, the cockpit floor has to be modified and the internal locating ribs have to be removed.
You might notice how the painting of the seats is a bit overdone, kind of cartoonish.  I find that helps detail stand out a bit once the darkened cockpit/fuselage is closed up and the canopy goes on.  Anything more subtle seems to get completely lost after assembly.

There was a surprising amount of work required to get the wings together using the original Tutor wings (modified) as an internal wingspar of sorts to hold the outer shell wing (P-51 Mustang with the wheel wells and gunbay removed) together.  You can see the vertical lines where the wings have yet to be cut so the outer third of each wing will be angled upwards a bit (like on the Pucara).

Nothing beats compliments in multiple languages----thanks, Rafa!

Noseweight trick/tip:  shotgun bb's and a touch of CA glue.
In the upper right hand corner you can see some RC Car wheel-weights that I'll also be using just aft of the cockpit.

Betcha it'll still be a tail-sitter, anyhow (but I've got to try).

Spent two and a half hours drilling and shaping various intake vent slots.
For what?
Don't know.
But I like 'em!

Initial drilled holes:

Final shaped slots.  Ain't easy.  Probably ain't worth it, either but I couldn't resist!

Crikey, that is looking good.  This is going to be a real winner, SJHM!
Good call on the intakes, it really adds a spark to the plane.

Thanks, guys!  Cockpit's all done and fwd fuselage is together.  Yes, the "Star Wars" X-Wing style lines I engraved in the cockpit's aft bulkhead are kinda hokey but what the heck?

just out of curiosity, if you are trademarking this, are you trying to sell the design?
