Well, after arriving from the Andes (the venezuelan Andes, that is) I intended to make my next build. It is a scratch SABA-like concept airplane. Is my first moulding and casting adventure (a partial one), I have already made research, have the plans developed, a prototype, the masters for casting, and bought all the materials I'd need.

But I'm stuck.

OH, MY GOD! WHAT IS HAPPENING TO MEEEEE?!?!?!?!?

Ah, if you know the tips of moulding, PM me... and courage mon ami!

French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Rafael

Yeah, But Not stopped. I haven't even started the actual model....

Whack!  You are hereby kicked in the butt by a size 13 boot.

Good luck with your model.  I am interested to seeing what it will look like.

Need inspiration? Show me your current stash (you can do via PM or here) and i give tons of ideas! :)

Rafael

Thanks Steve.

That hurt.

I've been all morning making the mould. Looking forward to spend the rest of the day in casting...

I hope it goes well.

The rest of the model is simple, tough.

Thanks.

Rafa

PD: Does anyone have had days like these, I mean, when nothing "modeling" comes to mind even though you have the project entirely documented, planned and resourced?

Hi B777LR, Yes, we have the SU30MKs, and the Mi-35 gunships and the Mi-17V5. Don't know the way they came into the country, but a good thread is found in secretprojects, in here.

I Currently don't know about the SU35, but word had spread about a purchase of the model, don't know what numbers, either.

Oh, i saw over at A.net that venezuela ordered Su-35, not Su-30MKV, but i was mistaken. Never knew about the Mil-35s though!

Venezuela has had a pair of SU-30s since December 2, 2006.  They were officially revealed to the general public during the December 10, 2006 Venezuelan Air Force Day festivities.  Around the same time it was announced the Venezuelan Air Force would not be called Venezuelan Air Force any longer, instead it is to be called Venezuelan Military Aviation (there is talk of a further name change but that is tied to the Venezuelan Political situation).  The images seen in FAV-club are grainy and the colors hard to tell.  Some images show the camouflage to be wraparound three tones of grey and white, other images show the camouflage as the standard FAV camouflage colors and white.

What about the F-16s, are any of these still in service? Or are they grounded due to lack of spares?
