The photo flash seems to have taken away most if not all the fading. :o  :o  This scheme was quite a problem to fade, and I didnt want to spray light grey over the whole airframe,so I used Tamiya flat base ....thinned for the airbrush.  I think it gave a quite decent fading overall, you may however disagree and hopefully point me in another direction.

Open to debate......... ...........I lost my references for the G50 and the kit decal sheet. (a real senior moment)  so the markings are not "real". The best I can claim is that the G50 represents an airframe typical of the era.

The Corsair is similar. I have no photos of "17"  B) but the scheme is again typical of the early land based "birdcage Corsairs" based on various photos and reference books.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

nice weathering!  those finishes look quite cool...subtle, yet flown.

Fiat G.50s are the greatest! I can't wait til someone gets together the cash and materials to build an airworthy 1:1 replica!

Great stuff dude! I'd love to do another one of those sometime. Forgive me if you've already mentioned this before, but what kit is this?

I love it! Way too cool. I agree with Greg on the weathering, it's perfect. Wish I could do that.

Cheers,
