I know better than to count, but when I ran through and assigned each kit a potential build scheme in November, I think I had somewhere around 250-260 in the stash.  I bought some stuff off eBay in December, but at the same time, I built about the same number of kits, so the stash count has stayed almost static.

And I managed to hold my New Year's Resolution all of one week (no buying new kits).  I saw a 1/72 Trumpeter Gannet I've been looking for since last year today.  And another Dragon 1/700 USS Chandler... But that's all... other than some brush cleaner...

I'm weak, I know.
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

I used to keep a little text-file database of my stash, but truth be told, I gave up keeping it current and I've lost track. I think I have between 35 -45 kits in my stash which should keep me in projects for at least the next 18 months if not longer.

QuoteI spent about three hourse moving stuff around in my storage unit this afternoon...
Don't hate me Jeffry but when a guy starts off with mention of his "storage unit" (and, yes, I love that pic of you in front of it and show it to my wife whenever she gets mad at me!) in conjunction with his styrene stash, I just gotta laugh!

Can I post the pic again, can I, huh, pleeeeease!

My stash seems to be mysteriously shrinking.....at the old place, it seemed like I had tonnes and tonnes of kits. Not so anymore. I don't know if I'm building them, or maybe the lovely wife has been knicking them !

These kits are all 1/700 that I robbed parts from to currently build my Habbakuk.

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

chrisonord

well todays chore was counting what I had in the stash. I have 204 kits in the stash, 29 of which are up for sale, and to be honest I can't be bothered photographing them as I have stacked a load of them away in boxes in the loft ;D

No pics, but according to my spreadsheet I've got a grand total of 688 kits in my stash.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Well this was it a couple of years ago but you will have to believe me, the stash had just been packed for a house move, the stash (at the time around 850 but I've not been keeping tabs on what I've got now) and there's some boxes here that have built models in. The boxes are two deep BTW.

The bottom photo is some of the stash before packing but the majority was down in the basement.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

My stash is on the verge of breaking 500.  It's currently organized in the empty spare room.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Havn't got a panoramic camera but it's around the 900 mark and there are quite a few larger

over 1200 kits and rising, photos of the loft have been seen on here before now.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.
