I have approximately 60 kits in the stash.  I have a few more coming in (assuming the ship with the 1/24th Mosquitoes on it can find Canada!)

Very few duplicates, except for a few whatifs I have planned.

I think it may be neat to place the whatif bird beside the standard bird.

My problem is where to put them once built.

Don't even get me started on books..... lucky the flat has concrete floors  :banghead:

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

400 and something assorted 1/72 a/c kits in the stash when i last counted them in november 2008.

Wow next to some of you, I look like a beginner. My stash is probably not even up to 100 yet. The last time I took count, it numbered 75 kits. Not about to undo the kit-stash "jenga" for an update though.

Here are the 25- 30 kits in my stash. Not including half the Swedish AF Airfix set i've got somewhere else. Many kits packed into larger boxes, such as the empty Tu-22 box, and i've also got a 1/72 An-12 in the garage.

One guy in our club was selling his stash because it was out of control.  He was genuinely embarrassed about it.   Stash size?    5 kits.   Five?????

We really liked the guy and was sorry he moved to the east coast.  But 5 kits.   Maybe he was the right one.

I feel embarrased about mine...

Yes, but you build them as fast as you buy them! How many kits have been through your stash in period x would be a better measure..... ;D

I had a quick count up a few weeks ago, I've broken past the 100 mark now.  It doesn't seem like much compared to some, but going at my current build rate it'll take 16 years to build them all.  Had a minor cull for a little while back too.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Over on ARC we have a thread that on how long it would take to get through one's stash if one were to build a kit a week.

Now, knowing the figures in your spreadsheet is one thing, but trying to imagine the time involved is quite another. I calculated that I'd need about 15 years and 4 months to get through my stash. That'd be May-ish of 2025!  :o

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?
