And here are my seemingly-favourite type of pics - ground-bound and boring as hell!

According to my developing and rather long backstory (which consists of a series of archived news articles) the Hawks are with 14Sqn at Ohakea.

As my hands are far from steady when taking the A2A shots (and the subject A/C is always moving   ) I much prefer taking the static shots.

Now, enough B/S from me and for some more pics! Enjoy! As always, comments very much appreciated!

And one final "I'm-in-the-pattern" shot:

I just love the look of your model -congrats!!!-      :tornado:

This hawk looks fine!
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Zac, I really like this one, that Kiwi just pops on the yellow!  Seriously I need to dig out my Hawk!

I like how zac has used a bit too little or dirty brushes for painting some of the green. Makes it look older! For this great build he has earned a F-35, if i ever find one in the shops...

Very nice build Zac!  LOVE those black Kiwis on the yellow.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Brian - Ohakea's about 30min down the road and home to a very nice Bluntie! Added pics - anytime! I enjoy taking them.

Archie - Thank you! I think so too!

GregCthulhu - when I eventually get a hold of one of those photo editing programmes, you will no longer need to fear the HAND! Hopefully I'll soon get my A into G and download one.

Steve - thank you! I'm hoping I can con my "I'm-a-professional-photographer-with-a-studio-and-everything" Dad to do some better ones for me.

Rafa - wow! I feel privileged! What's next is an RAAF Dauntless and the SSGB RB-66. And the Fuerza Aerea Argentina F-16.

Jeff - I'm glad with how the Roundels turned out on there! Like, wow, that looks good! And yes, get that Hawk! Ya know it'd be cool to see a Italian one.

GregGTX -     Memories........Lana just stared at it and said "What's that?" Kids these days   ...

B777LR - Unfortunately that finish is the result of doing touchups, which was a mistake as the new coat is visibly lighter (God only knows why) than the originale. Dammit! And thank you - name the scheme and I'll do my best to do it justice for you!

AD - Many thanks!

Rat - Brian and I were talking about that, and I got a vision of all these packages arriving with canopies for me to mask and paint! Ack! If I get paid I'll do 'em!

Cheers,

Zac

Zac,

You had better educate her - a triple dose of Monthy Python (best consumed with alcohol)!

You know I keep coming back to this one just to look at how great a Hawk looks in those colors.  It really is a beautiful little aeroplane, and one of the few British success stories of the past 30 years.

Again, lovely build Zac.  I'm liking your new 'turbine phase'!

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

ysi_maniac

Good. I like colors. Is it an Europe One scheme?
