Love the play-by-play.  Good luck on the decals and stay warm!

Low-cost alternative to the 2707 ? mach 4 Bizjet ?
I think I'll love this one... (Homer drool, Homer drool...)

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Here's what it looks like with decals. :) The rain has arrived that is the leading edge of the front, so it might be a bit tough to get the gloss coat applied. <_<

I was going to say the same thing.

[Slight Texas accent] "Ladies and Gentlemen, on behalf of your flightcrew, I'd like to thank you for choosing Eastern Airlines on this non-stop New York to London flight.  We'll be cruising at an undisclosed altitude well above seventy thousand feet.  We're expecting to reach London in about three hours and seventeen minutes as we did have a bit of a headwind upon departure from JFK.  Sit back and enjoy the view of the Earth's curvature as we settle into Mach 3..."

Killer Habu Eddie.. looks quite the part surprisingly.

A sad comment on the fact that this beautiful plane is out of service and even sadder that such a 60s tech marvel looks wayyyy better than the other one on the calender..

OK i'll get my hat, coat, bat & ball

I have finished this little flight of fancy. About 4 or 5 hours to complete. Spent more time watching paint dry, but what else is new. The decals came from my DC-3 that I did for the 1 week build. I definately want to purchase a few more of these Blackbird beauties, as they have a lot of WHIF potential. B)
