I've been asked to post some pictures on here that were originally posted on the ARC site, as they may be of intereset to you.
This is the Hobbycraft Avro Arrow in 1:72nd scale. Its built out of the box with main decals from the Xtradecal TSR-2 sheet and stencils from various spares sheets. The recon pod came from SAM Publications and was meant for the TSR-2, but i just trimmed it to fit and fitted it backwards......

Hope you like 'em, mARK

I've seen that fantastic TSR.2 before and was very impressed. Mark, that's a terrific model and it's a treat for me to congratulate you on your fine achievement in person.

Why thankyou Brian, praise indeed  .
The TSR-2 came about by accident as it was a kit that went badly wrong, but instead of binning it, I just let my mind wander.
The Arrow, was built simply because my wife is seriously ill in hospital and I wanted something to keep my mind occupied. It was started last Sunday and finnished on Friday. Thats one of the great things about insomnia......you can get a lot of work done, although I must get a quieter compressor if I'm going to do any more spraying at 4.30 in the morning   :D

Well, we Canadians are an unconventional lot, and as long as we can hide beer in it we don't care how it goes on the plane. Thanks for bringing it over!

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Beautiful models Mark! Welcome aboard and best wishes to your wife.

I remember seeing that TSR.2  a while back-absolutely stunning!!

As for the Arrow...well there aren't many on this board who go in for Canadian stuff  ;) , but I certainly love it!!

Best wishes for your wife's speedy recovery!
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Great job on both aircraft.  They look simply awesome!  I especially like the paint scheme and changes you made to the Arrow.
Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a poo-poo.
