The nose turret is very similar to
- Amiot 143 ("heavy" bomber)
- Bloch 200 (light bomber)
- Potez 540 (recon aircraft)
all had an ugly turret in the nose...

Wait a minute, you butchered a  DHC Beaver ? Hell, there's a radial engine in the nose, not a turret! You mean you scrapped the radial and replace it by a turret ?  :o  :o  :o
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Well I am glad that you all spotted the obvious theme here, that being of a Polish aircraft. :P

Just kidding it is supposed to be french. I just love those mid war french bombers. Ugly but cool.

Hopefully should get some more done in the next couple of days.

What is that horrible brown colour that the french used to paint their mid war bombers in?

It was "their" take on Khaki - Archie will be able to give you the correct name.

White Ensign do French WWII colours in enamels - very good. Also do Italian, Russian etc

Will it have a gondola?  All the best inter-war French planes had gondolas :)

QuoteHow ugly   ...
That's not so bad.  It's ugly, but looks sleek in a way.  Those Amiot and Farman monstrosities, on the other hand...  I think that such things are held aloft by ground repulsion, i.e., the Earth naturally repels flying machines that are that ugly.

Didn't Alvis kitbash a large multi-engined French machine a couple of years ago?  It had both pusher and tractor engines, multiple tails and large spatted main gears.

Edit: Found it!

Eureka!  Or is that, OMG!?

Brilliant!!!
Well done, Alvis! The perfect synthesis of the ugliness of  French bombers of the early 30's... thanks for posting pics of the thing, jschmus

Oh yes it definately needs a ventral gondola! Nev is completely correct. Without a gondola, it could be mistaken for being Czech or Polish.
