I butchered this 1:48 Monogram kit for my Tucara build, among other things.

I admit I've had some caffeine today, too.

Anyhow, this bit of a leftover husk is whispering to me, Eddie-style: "Turn me into an attack helo."

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Radish

Add wings, and a rear prop and do it Luftwaffe '46
.......or
How about a one man sub with a rotor at the back.....
........or
add wheels and a big engine for a Hot Rod
......or
well.....run out of ideas at the moment.
Sorry. :(

Heed well those voices, Mr Howling Mouse, for they will lead you down the road to Whiff Greatness!

I agree. That hulk is just screaming to be an attack helo!

Try beer instead of coffee for some 'real' inspiration.

Or any type of alcohol.

Maybe graft it to the nose of the Italeri 1/48 AH-1Z Viper??? I think an Apache front end would be too clunky

...or warp it and go for ducted fans on the outside wings.

Mossie

I like the attack helo idea!  The tail boom of a Eurocopter Tiger would lend itself well, it's low & fat & Revell do one in 1/48.  A Warthog helicopter may end up looking roughly like a Sikorsky S-67???
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Ducted Fans!!!

Ah, you're, too caffein addicted ? I try to stop for some weeks now

Nothing better than a good cup of coffee to stimulate a brain...  in my case effects last 10 or 12 hours    so I avoid drinking coffee the afternoon (otherwise I just can't sleep the following night)  :dum:

I wait this helo whartog impatiently...

AH-10 sounds logical, but what name ? Thunderfan ? Fanbolt ? Fanhog ? Fanzilla ?

JHM of Arc, insipred by the voices  :D
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

And whist we're talking rotorcraft.... where's the W U H then ????
