Awe-inspiring.

At some point, we're really going to have to do a Gekko Group Build: paying homage by utilizing any of his profiles on their respective subject aircraft.

Um, we might need some custom-printed decals though >>hint, hint<<   ;)  
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Why just gekko?  Why not all of our talented profilers?  Its something I have pondered in the past myself.

2X, why don't we called it the profile/ed GB? With all profiles that have been posted here being fair game.

Yes, of course!  Sorry, at the time of my posted suggestion, I had just been so overwhelmed by Richard's latest work with the Phantoms.  Open it up to all the talented artists on board, by all means.  :)

Please consider this concept renamed as:

Profiled Group Build

I think that one of the only rules should be that if you did the profile you can't do a model of it. I would be way too tempted to use one of my own profiles. I think that I have a few ideas from other profilers, though ('less Anthony beats me to it, you know what it is Anthony...)

Heh, you bet I do.  Don't worry, I'm still finishing up the 50+ models I started last September.  I hate doing stores...

A Profile GB sounds good.  How's about early 2008?  I mean, it looks like the SSGB is gonna be a tradition, but I think we can handle a companion GB (much like the SSGB and Phoenix GB going on now).

Can I enter already built profile based models?  My MI ANG Eagles just need more exposure.   :lol:
