Although reference can be found for it here among a few other places, and it's known to have been intended for the Project 85 CVL as detailed here among other projects; all else that I can find attestation to is the "Tiger"/navalized MiG-19 program's simple existence, and intended service alongside the Tu-91 Boot torpedo bomber and navalized Mi-1 Hares (presumably for COD, since the Boots could also do ASW). All else is at the moment well-hidden out there...
Any idea what kind of Farmer variant this "Tiger" would've looked more like and been formally designated? My personal guess would be along the lines of a "MiG-19PFK" Farmer-D, given both need for all-weather fleet air cover and the unreliability of the early AA-1 Alkali missiles on the "-19PM" Farmer-E and any prospective "-19PMK" naval version thereof. Of course, the missile-only Sea Vixen's example might argue a "naval Farmer-E's" case well, but the DH110 program was still in the doldrums from that infamous crash it had (can't remember the place) when any Soviet decision on which Farmer type to navalize would need to be taken...
EDIT: Finally found link for Pr.85 stats after hours of searching... Also some general editing for less redunancy and more clarity.

I like the idea of a navalised Mig-19. They did trial a Zell launched, arrested landing version on land so its not a great leap to a ship borne version.

I had played with the idea of a Zell launch from the ship for the alert section with a conventional arrested landing.
