After following the topic on Starfighters I decided to build an F-104 in SEAC colours.  The rules laid down by Gekko, was that build progress was shown so that I could receive from him some decals.  So here she is so far

If you go to Profiles and look for the Starfighter thread he said that if anyone wanted some decals based on his images he would make them up.  But build it first.  It has to be in 1/48 scale.  Drop him a line and see what he says.

Beautiful so far but how do you paint your cockpits AFTER the model is this far into assembly???   It was painted and then later looked all gray like the rest of the outer aircraft....what happened????   :o

It's ok, there's masking tape on it.  But I have suffered a bit of running of the under coat inside the cockpit.  Should be able to sort it out. :unsure:
