Saw this posted at ARC when someone proposed a new group build idea

Freakin' Sweet!

Man, we should have cloned twenties. Jackson wouldn't have given a poo-poo.

Oooooh, Russian naval A-10ski...  I like the built up hump behind the cockpit, just like the latest Su-25's.

BTW, what was the proposed GB?
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

It looks like they just sealed over the second cockpit of the Trump A-10 N/AW kit.

QuoteBTW, what was the proposed GB?

It sounded a lot like a Whif goup build proposal based on the ideas being thrown around

ARC Thread

Basically, aircraft in markings you wouldn't expect to see them in.  F-15s with red stars, Flankers in USAF markings, etc...

Very very nice indeed!!
I like the twin-seat A-10....what a shame it never progressed.

I saw that model in person - it was at the 2002 IPMSUSA Nationals - 1/32 scale.

A production A-10 two-seater would have been very cool, but as it would have been a true Night and All-Weather platform the 'fast jet' drivers in the tactical air force command structure were never going to support the program. Threatened their position on the totem-pole, ya see.

Anybody have any illos of how the production version was to look? I know that Fairchild were intending to use a long F-15E style canopy rather than the multi-piece affair of the prototypes.

The model is very cool but somehow it really needs an F-84F style canopy.

I suggest Su-10 Vartov...
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

Wicked - is it a Su-10T, an A-10T or perhaps a A-39?
