Will die without understanding this world.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Some P-38's were actually operated by Italian troops, but they retained their original Olive Drab/Neutral Grey livery and had their national markings overpainted.

VERY nice idea, though - I like the different engines. In order to set it further apart from the P-38, I'd move the radiators, maybe under the wings (Me 410 style)?

I have made slanting views of 3 Zero-Sen's creations, for my P-38 what-if site (in French, sorry):

 Interesting... while it is not easy to read: do you confirm this is a canard?

Zero-Sen

Yep! Canard it is.

A trio of Lightnings.

Great!
Is it photoshop editing from true photograph scale 1?
Or simple photograph of 3 models 1/72nd?
Anyway, congratulations! ;)

This thread started from naval versions of the P-38. Not sure if there are many pictured here - but I just found a few at https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?4469849-Lockheed-XFM-2
