You know, for 16 bucks, you'd think Academy would actually throw in some detail for the cockpit...made some foil belts, and spent some time on the dials, but still a long ways to go.  Man, who ever said Sabre cockpits were comfortable? Bloody thing is smaller than a Mustang's  !

Interesting.  Yet, the Hobbycraft F-86 is a fantastic little kit.  Good enough, in fact, that I would guess it is a repop of some Hasegawa or other mfg's work.

What's your Ceylonese version going to look like?
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Shasper

Yes, the Patriarch of Ceylon demands to know what abomination you're planning

Well, since I had to ditch the Martian influence on my storyline, I am working up some others...but, the Ceylonese Air Force is still a large part of the whole thing...and of course, the Kali Squadron is a major player.

I have the feeling Greg is going to impress us with some ten-armed version of the Kali Divinity hand-painted on this plane......

I think you might be right, Rafa! Greg that detail work is very impressive and a great teaser for this project which I'm sure will be cool as the other side of my pillow!

Thank you !  Yep, there will some different paintwork on this one...no bmf, that's for sure.

fuselage together, and lower wing on:

Lookin' very nice but if you don't get the tail on soon it's not going to survive the first flight around the livingroom!

Greg are you sure the Invaders from your story couldn't have been from the Moon in their giant Bi-peds?  Any resemblance to previous works is purely coincedental I'm sure  ;)

How cool would it be to be at war with the moon!

Hey is that wing bottom side up? tricky you are!

Great idea!  Did manage to get the base coat on today:

Brian da Basher

Wow a garlic base coat! That's an amazing adaptation of every-day household items for modelling! You probably need an airbrush to apply it though.

Seriously, I really like that cool beige/sand color Greg! It's got me thinking some kind of desert scheme. I think you've got one of the best eyes for color around. It's always a treat to see your paintwork.

Hmmm invaders from the moon. What a great ideea!!!

  I didn't notice he used Garlic! That must be to keep Radish's Vampires away!
