You know, it's a proven fact that a T-Tail increases the coolness factor of any aircraft by at least 1000%

Alas, no spats planned...  :(

I started to paint it 2 hours ago, a good old boring grey    No pics of the underside yet, because it looks awful, and I have no putty left to correct that (plan to correct that next weekend after a trip 150 km away from my home <_< .)

There's a surprise hanging below the fuselage (too much "Red storm rising" this week I fears  ) . As would said Rafa "cardboard yum!!!" (no bomb bay door, cardboard instead... and something recessed into the cardboard  ;)  )

King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

B777LR

Me like it better than ever!

Didnt i suggest you the idea of doing it as a soviet bomber once?

As a side note to make it more realistic, the B-29, Tu-4 and Tu-95 all share same fuselage cross section

Archibald

Don't forget the Tu-85 (piston-engined forerunner of the Bear) but also the Tu-124 airliner

Love the design...whacky and believable at the same time.

I'll have to imagine a backstory for this thing... ideas are already in my head  B)

B-29 collided with Tu-95 over russia. Result: The Tu-85 revealed to the west, and the yet unknown archie creation

Hmmm I applied a coat of paint - not the paint planned at the beginning, but I wanted to see how it looked with a decent paint   )

PS Tell me guys... I suppose this paint is not "standard" for a Soviet aircraft... I suppose such aircraft would be grey no ?  :(

Dunno, many soviet aircraft of the time where silver

The grey scheme had a white underside -_-

Backstory here  ;) http://www.whatifmodelers.com/forum//index...showtopic=14665
I've browsed wing palette for some Tu-16 profiles.
