Well, I think that these models will not fit the purpose of the forum, but I want to show you, where are the borders of the cardmodeling.

Lets start with this house model. Except windows "glass", everything is made from paper. I used many types of paper - thin/hard, white/color and so. Parquet are made from separate pieces, covered with thin layer of glue to simulate lacquer. Plants were originally from green paper, but they looked too weired, so I had to paint them and use dark green water colour. Decoration of the outside walls is three dimensional, made from multiple layers of hard paper.

Next to come soon is my favourite - electronic devices made from paper!!! Watch out!

Cool stuff. I love paper models...some of them are completely fantastic, and talk about easy to get !  There is a really nice Martian Walker download that I printed out, but it will have to wait to be assembled until the summer...

  More, more !

I just died!!!!

My wife says the plants are her favorite.  I, meanwhile, am simply overwhelmed.

So impressive!  I cannot begin to imagine the amount of work this must have been but it was clearly a labour of love, too.

Is this your own home?  Or a dreamhome?

When we were looking at house floorplans, I found this one website where they convert your floorplans and elevations into a foamcore/cardboard kit that you can actually assemble as a scale model to better visualize your concept.
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Great model Matej, I really can imagine sitting in that conservatory in summer sipping cold drinks, fantastic!  Buildings & houses, I could maybe even get my wife to model those.

Yourself, Rafa & Archie have created quite a buzz about card modelling at the moment.  Maybe we should have a card GB?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Matej

Sorry for the late reply, but last four days I started to work for a new company, so I have very busy and difficult time now.

Jon Howling Mouse: No, its just imagined house. Of course, I used some details from mine, but when you look much closely on it, it is, ehm, a bit unpractical for everyday living.

Mossie and Rafael: Thanks  ^_^

So, here we go again! What I said was not electronics AND paper, but electronics MADE from paper.  ;)  Do you think that Japan is a world-leading country in electronics miniaturization? WRONG!! Slovakia rulez!!

What's that ?

(and yes, cardboard is really an interesting material for modelling  ;) . Easy to cut,  easy to glue, easy to paint...

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.

It was still not the edge  :) Now we can grow higher. Lets start with the early stuff, where I tested techniques for further models. Small radio, electronic clocks and cell phone.

Everything was ready, so I started my first complex project - the digital radio. I did every component precisely, but unfortunatelly it does not play very well.  :D The width of the model is 20 cm.

Some old-style electronics. I used glue and the dust under my bed to simulate the shabbiness.

The final (but not 100 % finished) product in this serie was the video. I made it before I dismantled my first real video, so the internal arrangement is only the product of my imagination. Some of the solutions are right, but some far away from reality. The width of the model is 27 cm.

Next to come - what do you do, when you want the new computer and dont have enough money? Manufacture your own!

Bueno, Matej!!!!
This is indeed cardboard (Cardboard, Yum!!!) modeling to the edge!!!
I specially love your little walkers and the video machin is nice.
The digital radio almost looks the part (if it wasn't for the sound) :D

Marvelous, Amigo!!!
Congrats!!

Awesome... but i understand nothing!    Is it true electronics, or is it electronics made from cardboard (non functional) ? I'm curious...

Quotethe dust under my bed

True modelers works with EVERY materials they found! I used dust of my shelf to made some desert bush  for a diorama

Rafa, have you ever use dust ?

I've modelled a Dyna soar, a X-33, a MiG-25 and some others things from cardboard (YUM !!! )
