At long last here are pics of my Projekt X.

This is the Arado Ar E 378 and was designed to thwart the Allied daytime bombing offensive and was built in 1944 and is powered by a single BMW 018.

Years later Boeing discovered the E 378 plans and based their X-32 on this design but failed to win a contract with the U.S. Government in the JSF competition.

I will take more pictures of this model when I have more time, I did not feel up to setting all my gear up today.

That is one incredible paint job!  I like the touch of those German Air-to-air missiles!   B)

Thanks Greg and dragon!

I was uncertain about how I wanted to mark this one, I ended up marking it as a JG 1 bomber killer.

Woah is that ever cool, Matrixone! I really like those underwing missiles! Your paintwork on the fins is excellent! I never knew those suckers had wooden fins. Excellent work and a very convincing backstory to boot!

Here is another photograph but this one is special...it was taken by an OSS agent deployed in Germany to get intel on the new ''wonder weapon'', a few people died getting these pictures out of Germany.

Oh My, Matrix!! :o  The coolest whiff I've seen in quite a while. I have plans to do an F-117 Nighthawk in Luftwaffe nightfighter markings with the Lichtenstein radar setup; this may convince me to start it. Great work yet again, very interested in your upcoming P-40. Maybe a captured Free French P-40F (I believe one of their pilots did defect)?
