Thanks very much for the comments LemonJello and bluntie!

bluntie,
I use ModelMaster paints and always lighten my colors with a little bit of white added to them. On the uppersurfaces of my models I often spray a lightened version of the base color on some of the panels to represent some light weathering of the paint...I prefer this method over the pre-shading that many others seem to favor. I think the pre-shading works best on the undersurfaces of the WWII a/c models. This past week I thought of another way to weather my models paint jobs, can't wait to try it out!

Yes lately I have had some real down moments in my non-modelling life but I think things might improve at least on the job front...but I still regret not telling that special woman that was in my life a few years ago how I felt about her, I have dreams about her every night and there is nothing I can do to stop them, I even take prescription sleep aids and still don't get a full nights sleep because the dreams wake me up in the middle of the night. :(  I never told her I built models as a hobby for fear she would think I am a total nerd, not long ago I found out she was a figure painter! Doh!

It's an "English" verbal expression - short for "cor blimey" which is short for, which is short for etc.

Basically an expression of appreciation, quite often used when a nice looking young lady walks past   Believe you me it's a spoken expression of guenuine delight  :)

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks Chris! :)
