How Cluttered Is Your Workbench?

Did you find  anything amongst the debris? Missing parts not swallowed by the carpet monster,  shards of  craft knife blade,  Lord Lucan's spare tie.........

I think I win. Messiest, that is...

A tiny Ikea table (you can see a 30cm metal ruler right at the front to give an indication of scale) , piled high with stuff. Many, many aircraft, two 1:700 ships, one 1:100 mecha, parts of another, one 1:32 vehicle, and one 1:8 (ish) figure. I get distracted easily...

I should sort it out, but I'm terrified of what I might find. Or indeed what I might lose (accidentally throw away) in the process.

This is in the corner of my living room/kitchen space, as my flat is tiny. I would love space for a proper "man cave" setup, which would probably actually be tidier than this! As it is I barely have room to organize, so things tend to pile up vertically as you can see. A good chunk of the stash is under the table...
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

That's fightin' talk.........  ;D

The 'stash' is nowhere to be seen as it's about 10 feet above the bench in The Loft. The brown boxes end-on under the bench are my some of my paint store, just the Greens, Blues, Greys and Black-and-Whites that is.  ;D

ALL laws and regs, I believe, Moritz, not just a few.... you all know this is an entirely temporary state, and just an excuse to get into the garage and close to my plastic, don't you ??

As soon as the 'little darlings' go back to school, I aim to make it as 'tidy' as Pyro's  :drink:

My bench is back there as well though I do plan to make the tools a little bit tidier in the reasonably near future

Just as well it is bad for the eyes. I mean who has time to watch television while they are modelling.
Apart from that it looks very like my work bench.

The key bit about the tele is the multi-format VCR deck on the window-sill behind it. That allows me to freeze-frame vids of various aircraft to check details etc.

Not that I ever build them exactly like that of course, but it gives me ideas.  ;D ;)

Have you noticed that we all have pretty large work benches, compared to the size of our models, but the work area itself is MINUTE!  :o

All the surrounding space is taken up with umpteen tins of paint, various glue dispensers, files, saws, knives and every other sort of modelling took.
