Oh, get OUT!!!  You even stacked on the second pane of glass...separated by tiny bracket-thingies?

Inhuman FREAK!!!   :o

You should lose kit-provided parts more often, Eddie----a clear improvement over what came in the box.

Wow....

Thank you All very much! B) I must admit, it came out better than I had expected. It's a shame it'll be closed up in the cockpit. At least I know I can do it. :)

Yes, that HUD is too much for me. :(  :(  :( (thinking on leaving modeling). I think that you should pose canopy open.

Sorry to disapoint, but i'd like to keep it closed. Too many goofs in there to leave it up. ;)

My problem is the canopy rail doesn't want to touch in the center. How would y'all close that seam?

Depends:

A. If the canopy and its rail are already glued in "closed" position, I'd stick with Microscale's "Micro Krystal Klear" that you can apply in place into the gap (without PSR) then paint once dry to close that gap...

or:

B. If the canopy and its rail are just dry-fitted in the "closed" position, I'd simply sandwich a very narrow coil of grey plasticine between the lower edge of the canopy rail and the cockpit's wall (just enough to seal it up when you squeeze the canopy/rail back down into the closed position).

With both these methods, you don't have to risk using CA glues or any form of PSR on the completed model.

P.S.  Just realized how good your nose gear looks in that close-up: kudos, man.

Here it is, warts and all. That's not exactly the way I planned it, but I'm glad to accept this bird into my airwing of plastic whifs. :) Thank you all for the kind words during this build. It means a lot ot me. B)

Cool  B)

Looks kinda weird though with the hi-vis stars n bars, but lo-vis squadron markings.

And those jamming pods make it a Growler right?  So VFAQ-1?  :P
