Whoa, taking shape now!  Don't think I'll bother with mine now, it won't be anywhere close!  Good stuff Baz!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Wow Mr Howling Mouse I am absolutely astounded by your talent and imagination! Seeing her up on floats makes me think of this as an American version of the famous Spitfire floatplane. Was that legendary prototype your inspiration?

The proportions are correct too.   In a former life (last week) I thought of putting Seiran floats under a Stuka but seeing this, the pontoons likely are too small.

This is looking great!!!!

How about the floats from the Trumpeter An-2 floatplane Daryl?

Bleh, I am a mere peon in the greater modelling world, but thanks!

I have just always pictured many "real" aircraft with either T-Tails or Floats (sometimes, when I'm really kinky: with both).

I kinda screwed up tonight, though.  You know those aft window panels on the P-40?  Well, on the AMT kit, there's really no defined way they join up.  They just kind of sit there against the concave recess in the fuselage spine behind the cockpit.  So, I figured I'd forego regular glue and just blob up a basically solid swipe of Microscale's Micro Krystal Klear.

This was apparently not the greatest idea I've had today (and this includes me doing my own plumbing work on our kitchen sink today) as it's not going to dry as "invisible" as I'd hoped.

Erm, the markings are still on the decal sheet because I have to paint this FP-40 "SeaDog" ™ first!

How the hell did I missed this one ? sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!!
King Arthur: Can we come up and have a look?
French Soldier: Of course not. You're English types.
King Arthur: What are you then?
French Soldier: I'm French. Why do you think I have this outrageous accent, you silly king?

Well regardless I would rather take my chance out there on the ocean, that to stay here and die on this poo-hole island spending the rest of my life talking to a gosh darn VOLLEYBALL.
