So I come home from hockey loaded and all gunned-up to do some painting, only to find that my own kid has painted me out of flat black ! No Humbrol, no Testors, nothing !

I remember teaching some 6 year olds once, and while they were painting some penguins, one table had painted the penguins in different colours...one with a yellow front, one red, one blue, one green.
Why?
"We ran out of white"

I'd definatley need black if I was painting penguins.........

Not sure what the little bugger painted ! Probably the four or five Hornets he's done.

And in my drunken stupor, I did a little research into the colours I needed. Turns out it's green and not black ! But by that time, the room was spinning and I went to bed........

Running out of flat black is a bitch. Every time I go looking for some I have to hit at least 3 stores before finding a dusty bottle hidden on a back shelf. I propose an amendment to the Canadian Constitution; ALL hobby stores MUST have at least 100 bottles of flat black in stock at all times.

Wouldnt A/C Interior black be a good sub? Its black, and flat (well I guess it could be semi-flat, but a good shot of clear flat will do the trick )
