In all fairness Radish I did request the information as the Trumpeter instructions say it should be grey which I was doubtful of. :P

So not to worry we are not being infiltrated by JMN's, although it looks like Hyperscale and ARC are trying to take some of our people over to their camps!

Richard.

Interestingly the reviwer in March MAI shared your views on Trumpeter's colour instructions, but after checking what ref's he could decided they "may well be right", although the seat is "undoubtedly black". But as rad say's "it's a WIF"

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I glued the nav light on with super glue and applied more around the area, let dry and sanded the excess away, as you can see here nearly done.

polished-up with a bit of Tamiya polish.

part B22 super glued (lightly) to a steel ruler ready for airbrushing. I realise now that this part could have been glued on right at the start! :dum:

parts C39 and C40 applied and Mr Surfacer brushed on to help blend it in.

Once I apply metholated spirit to remove the excess the join here will be invisible.

Getting close now!

Richard.

QuoteUhmmm, when was deadline?
I was going to say - weren't you supposed to have been done like, 2 weeks ago?
"We can resolve this over tea and fisticuffs!!!"

Hi Richard and good morning

When you use the metho to remove the Surfacer, can you please provide some closeups of the process?

Thanks and great modelling.

Looking good, Mr. Gekko.

Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Yep! All's good though, its got me back into a modelling routine, and I'm enjoying the build, so I guess you could say I'm winning anyway! ^_^

Thanks Richard - I was going to ask if you could do that as well - fascinated by this build. Nothing like watching a master at work
