If you met him, you'd think differently...he might own a lot on paper, but not much in real world assets...and he is very capable of making fun of himself. Sometimes, I wonder if he shakes his head and goes "wow, what the hell happened?"

This thing is black, black, black !  The decals are printing out this afternoon (hopefully). It is the Revell 1/72nd F-18C, same as the italeri bird, and you aren't kidding about the putty...my god, half a tube or so. Horrible fit.

May have taken a lot of putty, but it looks damn good Greg!  Guess I was wrong about the fuselage chop then, I've not seen this kit, is it just part of the build sequence?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Looking good!

--> Wlll spotted on the W40K tank :S
Try not. Do. Or do not. There is no try.

Yeah, isn't it a blast doing all of that sanding and filling?  Boy, if I had paid full price for this one, I'd be pissed.

Mine was only £3 during a closing down sale, and I bought it for the stores and decals!  :D

I see what you mean guys, that's one nasty join, I'm amazed Revell bothered to re-box it if the rest of the kit is as bad.  Mind you, as a cheapy, you get out what put you in, & both your builds look good.  Thanks for sharing that Spanish Bug Nev, it's a beauty!

About that flared, misaligned join, ahem [best PeeWee Herman voice]:

"It's supposed to be like that."

Who needs an air brake?  LOL.

Well, yet another project on hold...I seem to have lost the bottom part of the rear canopy...have spent the last three hours looking all over here for it, no go. Guess I will have to wait for a replacement !
