[Hobbes]

I've got an FTP server set up with some aircraft-related TV shows, the server contains the files listed below (the most interesting ones at the top):
Most of these have been shown on Discovery Channel at one time or another.
If any of you happen to have the Discovery show 'Speed machines - breaking the sound barrier' (which shows the race for Mach 1 from a British perspective, and includes the Miles M-52), I'd appreciate a copy.

Can you reach it at all? I'm showing lots of attempts to log in as anonymous, but that won't work. You'll have to use the username and password from my initial post.

Just tried it
Opening it in IE gets nothing

If I Hit Start, run, ftp 82.215.44.146 it'll let me login whif, pass whif, cd "Aviation video" and ls gets a list of files.

I'm trying a harrier vid now

Edit:I suspect the ftp will time out before I get anything. I'll let you know.

yeah, MSIE isn't a very good FTP client. Try something like FileZilla instead.

Timeout is set to 15 minutes.

Nice one. A proper client makes it so much more civilised. I might have to steal some corporate bandwidth in the morning though

ah yes. Most of these are 300-600 Mb, so you'd better have a fast connection.
