Thank you! I had to go and make things difficult for myself, but what else is new. ;)   I chopped the flaps and ailerons, rebuilt them and then dropped them.

Captain Canada

Nice one, Eddie !

Looks like a cross betwen a post-war racer and a fighter.......in other words, fast and mean !

CANADA KICKS arse !!!!

Long Live the Commonwealth !!!

Where's my beer ?

Very nice Eddie, the early short tail versions make sense for a racer, lighter with better yaw moment.  Just a suggestion, but may be clip the wingtips & horizontail tail straighter?

PS Sorry Ed, realised I've posted late & I apologise if your much further on & I'm suggesting changes!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Ohhhhhhhh, dropped flaps and ailerons....mmmm......gaaaaglllggghhhhh!!!!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwww I'm kinda bummed that it's ceased to be a bi-plane.
Mind you it does look the part of a racer. Clipped wings and tail is a good idea too you'd have people really doing a double take as to whether it started life as a P-40 or a Mustang.

I invite all and any criticism, except about Eric The Dog, it's not his fault he's stupid

Just so happens I found another P-40 to do the biplane. :)  I was thinking about the clipping the wings and tail. I'm glad y'all were thinking the same thing. B)

Here's the clipped version. Looks much better. Thanks for the suggestion. B)

Also, here's an idea that I had to use a P-51 frame that Jeffry F. sent me. I had a vision of a Howard Hughes type aircraft. Don't know what will come of it, but here it is. :)

Oh yes!!! The clipped wings really enhance the look of this sleek bird! Yet another masterful modification!

I like that Howard Huges meets a Warthog thing you've got going on there too! It's alomost a T-tail! A certain Mr. Howling Mouse will be drooling. ;)

You never fail to surpise Eddie!  Add canards & it's very Burt Rutan, a bit on the lines of the Predator 480.  You could crop dust a whole States fields in a couple of hours!!!
