B777LR

My 1/48 Italeri Stingbat!!! It was released once by testors alongside the Mig-37 and F-19 ;)

Instructions are CONFUSING   (thus cannon is visible)

End result was very nice though  Canopy did need quite a bit of trimming to fit though...

Very nicely done: professional-looking finish.

I could never find one in any LHS.  My plan was to purposely put a normal counter-rotational tail rotor on it...

This fellow did something very cool with it, too:

Good job!

I just wish Testors had released a 1/72 version of this model.  This is the only one of the 80's stealth triumvirate I haven't built, only because I don't build 1/48 scale.

The one I found last year is turning into Greg's Clan Jade Falcon

Looks like it just stepped out of a sci-fi movie or an issue of Popular Science magazine :)

I too would have liked to get this in 1/72.

Nice!

What was the fit like?

I have seen that kit around and I was wondering if it was worth getting.
Get this Cheese to sick bay!

QuoteWhat was the fit like?
Like sh*t :P

Ok, to be honest, canopy, cockpit, instrument panels and the front part of the fuselage-halves where to only real problems... ;)

Buy it if you find it, even if its not the scale you want it in  (you might like building a single fun 1/48 kit anyhow ^_^ )

The fit on mine wasn't too poor...guess like everything else, you can buy a lemon or an orange!
Like the way yours finished out B777LR, getting those props to sit true must have been a real bugger.
