I've always felt that the Masons deserve their own air force (to protect all of that hidden wealth, don'tchaknow), and that is a perfect desertish scheme !

Definitely the Volunteer Jerusalem Fighter Group of the Knights Templar, Air Force - I have the references as you know, and I think you'll find the red-brown is a little more 'ochre' in tone !

Your mixing up the colours.......this "gekko"scheme changed colour to frighten its enemy ....when an attack radar painted the surface it flushed ( via photoshop)   to a very aggressive red(and ocre)

My original scheme was to be a German Lizard ,but a couple of F20 Tigersharks gazumped me on that.

I had also thought of Sultan of Oman markings rather than RAF,but that was short lived and Isreal. Although I have a large decal box (which includes IHG's) I never followed it up as decals for those were in short supply.

Even went the what if? "Falklands" route for awhile.  

Im leaning now towards one of two schemes. A "Templar" and a Spanish "Eurovision war" machine. .........maybe on different sides of the airframe

Great stuff!

I like the camo, it reminds me a bit of some Spanish and Morrocan camo, you know sort of that cross over zone between desert and temperate that covers both sand and sparse vegetation.

At that, give it to the Moorish air force, they can excercize control over the Iberian Peninsula and fly them from Alhambra air base.

It is beautiful, but white cross is from Order of Malta, which fits better with mediterranean camo. Templar cross is red. No?
