If you go Japanese with the 335 why not do a post war captiulation (sp?) machine with the white crosses?

That could be an interesting twist - say that the allies only became aware the the Japanese had a 335 (for trials purposes) when it turned up to surrender.  Do it well and then do the appropriate photography/photoshopping and you could probably fool quite a few people .  I could even write you up an appropriate backstory to go with it.
