Developed in the early 1930's, the Westland Walsingham was designed as a observation aircraft for the RAF. This aircraft was later re-designed as a high wing monoplane, and renamed Lysander.

Model :Airfix Westland Lysander.
Conversion : Added new wing, then reverse cranked the top wing and put a norman crank on the lower wing, then added the struts.

Or how to make a Lizzie even slower!  Good work Glenn, looks very believable.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Nice work!  So how about a few photos of it "in the flesh?"

Yowsa Glenn I'm absolutely drooling!!! That's a great way to make use of a Lysander! You've done a magnificent job and that's a superbly done pit of photo-art as well! Looks like an original from the 1930s! You hang out with Matrixone, don't you?

Those spats are lovely!

This shot was taken over Malta. I was going to 'greyscale' it, but thought it was almost B&W to begin with.
The shot of Malta was taken from an "After the Battle" magazine.

Holy cow Glenn that second shot is killer! I'm very impressed with your work aligning the struts and how precisely you painted the canopy framing! Those lovely spats  are the cherry on top!
