Can't remember who it was, but somebody (i think on here), did a twin stick P-40 nightfighter variant called the 'Kittiwake' IIRC

Neat stuff!  Mine is much simpler...somewhat of a stopgap measure prior to the advent of the P-61.  Love those double props, UpNorth!

How was your seam on the air intake on the top of the nose?

It needed a light sanding to mate correctly, but just a little bit of filler. The reason I went with the chopped wings, though, was that the wings fit together horribly at the tips...it would have taken a lot of sanding to get them right.

What kind of markings are you thinking of? I'm imagining those 1943 USAAF markings with red outlines.
