I like, but If you enlarge tailplane it would be better, IMHO :)

After being made fun of on another site, I did pick "Krolik" as the name...have to admit, it does look like a pair of rabbit ears...

1st primer coat on, you'll notice I made the rear round...it just looked too fun not to do.

Ha, take THAT, Sky Captain!  This is way more inventive!
Styrene in my blood and an impressive void in my cranium.

Definitely another one for the "why-didn't-I-think-of-that" list  :D

Great looking model so far - look forward to seeing it finished.

Oh yes, sweet!

Wait a minute, that's the primer?    That'd make an awesome paintjob just on its own!

Love it!

Thanks all...it has been tough coming up with a colour scheme for this one...a nightfighter flown by women in the Russian air force?  I thought about just basic black, but that was too dull...I am leaning towards a red (hence the red primer), but perhaps with a bit of camo too...still waiting for my muse on this one.

input is welcome...I seem to be stuck on this issue. It is sitting in the spray booth...sitting, sitting, sitting.

That looks cool! Now here's what my voices suggests. ;)    Maybe paint it black and using the underlying red to put a design or "invasion stripes"  or abstract camo.......okay, time go take my meds..... :P

so, go with a mixed red and black camo of some sort?  I wonder if it should be spots or lines.
Like the idea of invasion stripes too!

Yea, kinda a Radish tribute. ;)  :) If it's camo, maybe throw in some rust color as a transition between the two. Now I'm thinking of using the red/black invasion stripes too. :P

Dark red and black version of the "Zebra" pattern that was trialed on a North Africa-based P-51A?
