I am trying out Eddie's fantastic idea of masking using foil...I folded up a sheet until it was about an inch wide, then punched in holes at random...spread out the sheet over the plane:

Then started doing light spray coats from about two feet away:

You've had better results than I've had so far. It looks get! I like the fade of the spots. B)

Wow looking even better! Your paintwork is some of the best around, Greg! Is that jar of Kosher Dills I see in the background your secret weapon?  ;)

Brian da Basher

cthulhu77

OH no!  You have found out my super secret! :)

Thanks, it is fun to do the panel lines by hand again...haven't done that in a while, and I was getting rusty.

cthulhu77

and, add on some pastels!

cthulhu77

don't forget the rusty red bottom !

Brian da Basher

Greg that is one of the coolest paint schemes to come down the pike in a while! The more I see of it, the more amazed I am! Is it just me or do those wings have a slight Me-109 look to them?

Brian da Basher

cthulhu77

LOL...a friend of mine asked about the whacky ME I was building...

The pilot (being a sheila) must have ta-ta's!
