A few folks people have expressed interest in this new project, so I'll bring it out into the sunlight. ;)  :) Just kinda messin' around with parts from two Mustangs. A couple with jet engines and a couple without. Definately a flight of fancy.

That's weird, just watched 'The Aviator' for the first time tonight!

I like the jets, reverse engineered Ta 283???

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Build them both!

The first one in invasion stripes and natural metal.

The second one "long nose" mustang in sand and spinach.

This is a big coincidence. I found the fuselage and wings yesterday while sorting my mass of parts for whiffing. The engines are going on Ayegor the Attacker and the prop went to the B-25/ P-51 bash (The Pusher) I guess I should dig this out again and see where it goes.:)

That's amazing.....JHM totally failed to mention the horizontal tail configuration of aircraft #2! Has the world gone mad?!?!

BTW I'll take three of aircraft #1 please! Hominahomina! DEFINITELY a Hughes Aircraft shape...."Jet aircraft!.....the way of the future....the way of the future....the way of the future...."

#2 looks like a Reno machine....Red Baron II perhaps? Strega NXT? Dago Green? :P

Well, it's not like it had SPATS! or something!  Anyhow, Eddie: hope these designs BOTH come to the front of the workbench...and soon.
