Well you could change the name to the "Backwards, Upside-down & Sideways" GB.

I'd most definitely be in! Thinking of hacking up a Spitfire for this GB.

Perhaps.....as long as I am free from painting the machine in rainbow colors.

When saying "backwards planes", what comes to my mind is an F-15 with fuselage in opposite direction  :wacko:

How about the following:

Backwards Do-335;
Puller Kyushu J7W1 Shinden; or
Puller B-36?

Or, pushing the envelope a bit, one could remove the vertical tail off a Starfighter, put rings of teeth inside that large tail pipe and make some deep sea lamprey eel!  :wacko:  :wacko:  :wacko:

I guess in the simplest way you could turn a conventional aircraft into a canard configuration, or like Greg was suggesting, turn a puller prop in to a pusher (or vice versa for either).  At least parts of the plane are going the opposite way!
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

This sounds like a fun idea, if there's enough interest count me in.

The USN's early carriers, Saratoga and Lexington in particular, were designed to sail backwards at speed, so that if the after deck was damaged they could land aircraft on the forward deck.

Relevance? I got yer relevance right here!  :P

Some ships might work if you reverse the superstructure.

The Merkava tank has its engine forward, and the original VW Beetle had its engine in the back. A friend of one of my high-school teachers reversed car's transmission and drove his car "backwards". What would other vehicles look like turned around?

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Well there was/is the Spähpanzer Luchs - This German 8x8 amphibious reconnaissance armoured fighting vehicle (Spähpanzer) has been in service since 1975 by the West German and later German armies, who used a total of 408 in their armoured reconnaissance battalions. As a special feature the vehicle is equipped with a special rear-facing driver with his own driving position.
