I didn't realise London was getting so dangerous - A big yellow helicopter (SAR Sea King ) flew into central Nodnol to-day.  Left around 2100.  Oddness.

My brothers' been watching the Eurofighter practice near Didcot for an upcoming airshow (RIAT?), the lucky so-and-so.   <_<

That big yellow Sea King probably went on to Southend for the annual airshow this weekend. The main helo route thru London involves following the river and the military pilots stick to it like glue, probably treating it as practice for warzone SAM evasion!

Maybe dropping dropping off a casualty at a hospital?  Our local yella Sea Kings often do that, they land in parkland adjacent to the hospital & an Ambulance picks them up to make the two minute journey.  Worked at that hospital for a while, unfortunately I was stuck in labs at the back & never got to see them.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The danish S-61s are used for the same. I was at the hospital once, on a holiday in denmark (we lived in tanzania), and it was feared that i had malaria (but i hadnt). I saw one or two of them landing outside the windows ;)
