QuoteGood luck, Eddie.

Just remember the importance of capillary action for all those incredibly LOOOOONG joint-lines.

Good ol' Tenax-R, eh?
Workin' on that right now. If anyone would like to follow this build, I'll be posting here and Swanny's

Let's see..... how can I tie this into the theme of the site. Okay, what if the kit came with this little bit of detail that I added to it. I'm hoping it will give a bit of depth to the bomb bay.

Man, it's painstaking efforts like this done by people like yourself that make me grateful that I am always perfectly satisfied with everything that comes "as is" right out of the box!   ;)

Hi Eddie,

Another one that was hidden away in the general modeling forum.

You must be a mind reader, because I've just recently started working on this one again. I'm putting the saw and Dremel tool away for a while to concentrate on this and another whif involving a F/A-18F that I started last night. ;D

Hi Eddie,

No mind reading involved, just luck of the draw that I was reviewing the general modeling forum to find subject specific material to merge with current topics in the Hot Topics forum and stumbled on your topic which I realized was not where it should be in The Current and Finished Project forum so I moved it to the correct forum and brought it to your attention.

I just eMailed you a number of images and drawings for the B-One that were collected on-line, I hope that they will be of some use to you in finishing your project.

Thank you Jeffry! Is that your work?

I'll be putting out a decent offer, but my Uncle ( who I'm building this for) isn't concerned about minute detail like I am, so I'm only going for one open by as of now. I've been putting the sub-assemblies together and am doing the PSR on the nose section.

The 1/48 Bone was my first re-entry into the hobby several years back.  It was a lot of fun, even though it left no room for anything else on the bench.

I don't recall any gruesome fit problems.  I do remember the canopy windows being a total pain in the a**, though.

One thing I would recommend is the eduard brass kit for the thing.  It helped out a great deal in the cockpit.

I'll be following this one.  I've been thinking of doing another one, but I got nowhere to put a beast like that!  I've wanted to do one in a nice desert camo jobbie.  Yeah, it's cliche, but the bone looks good in desert colors.  Maybe desert colors and Israeli markings?????

Even better, Number 617 Squadron, RAF in overall hemp.

Be better in over all desert pink with pale blue/pink roundles and suitable nose art.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

wow Eddie, That one is realy huge. You'll be needing a car sized spray booth for that one.

Good luck on the build
