Ed, you are not the only one that had that thought at first glance.

A firm yes!  I think that's an unusual enough layout to have the local farmer ring the Police about the thing that's worrying his sheep.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Will die without understanding this world.

I'll porbably build something... I've been considering the after math of the Saucer Wars - possibly a second invasion scenario in the 21st century by which time we earthlings have our first primative saucers. Well, more jet propelled flying wings with black sphere anti-grav technology...
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

I'm in! I've got a couple of little projects in mind that will be a nice change of pace.

Does it have to be a flying saucer?  I was planning on turning the Testors UFO (Invaders) into a USMC attack landing craft in the near future.

I'm in.  I'm going to do a classic series Battlestar Galactica but with a clear canopy and Terran-style cockpit/ejection seat and landing gear.

Whooo---hooooooo.....this is gonna be fun!

Do flying saucers come with spats?

That sounds great, it doesn't actually have fly, ground effect or even floating on water is fine by me.
