As i picket up a P.1216 kit up at the northen show, I thought it might be the perfict aircraft for my warship projects for next years northen show.

This aircraft will be fitted with a mad boom deploying from the port boom and the starbord will be fitted to deploy sonar bouys. the arment will be a mix of self defence arams on the wingtips, a pair of stingray torpedos and also a pair anti ship missile under the booms.

no phots yet but watch this space over the next few days.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Since the above photo was taken, mine is now sitting on its u/c and is getting very near to the paint shop. Those who have one of these will be glad to know it isnt a tail sitter.

For mine ive used the nose gear off an Airfix Tonka and the main gear is modified to single axle from a Heller Mirage 4. It will need to be mounted on a 2mm high block at the forward end inside the Boom u/c bay to be the right size.
This one will be RAF as opposed to the RN birds Thorvic has done so far.
I always hope for the best.

I always hope for the best.
