THe "new" project. Between the Skyraider and the Skyshark came the original "fin"

Douglas aviations mating of the Wyverns Python contra engine and a Skyraider...the fin is of course another  piece of Douglas history.

I think with the complete prop assembly in place,it justifies the "fin".....................................others may know better.
