heres a quick snap of my mornings work whilst sitting bored (yipee no students all summer!)... some turning and whittling with a plank of lime wood!

just whatever spray cans i had to hand...the orange, blue and silver being car sprays...quick drying, good for finding blemishes and providing a hard base to sand and fill upon, i use this technique on al my scratchbuilds as it also soaks into the wood providing a harder finish on which to work (sand sealer works in a similar way)

my intention is to have them both finished by weeks end!

Son of a gun...green with jealousy over here, and looking forward to this one (two?) big time!

... iv now got the intakes dug out (lined with brass shim) and airframe assembled, all ready for a scoot of primer
... todays job is adding some suitable thin walled brass pipe exhaust fairings and some more sanding, filling etc.
... im thinking of a scheme similar to the old RAF. Lincons and early Canberras with Black unders, grey uppers, itll make a change from my usual silver finishes on project models
... ill post up some snaps of the finished build along with its smaller delta sibling...
